Use and application

Ribbed tor steel in stainless steel is required for:

  • Concrete components that are exposed to major damp or wet conditions and 
    where the reinforcement is located very close to the surface
  • Structures or buildings that house sensitive measuring instruments, for example, where no reinforcement that can be magnetised is permitted in the immediate proximity (-> permeability)
  • Structures in damp or wet areas that are at major risk of cracking from the outset
  • Buildings that require special safety measures due to inaccessibility and necessary durability
